Oh my God, Sakaeguchi and I have a little puppy and her name is Juanita Sakai (Juanita was me and Sakai was Sakaeguchi, who named her after Iron Chef French Sakai Hiroyuki) and she is sooooooo cuuuuuuuuute and she has cooking things and we are getting her a chef's outfit for Christmas this year and just wait until you see her!

Sakaeguchi is going to post the pictures and videos of her really soon! She's just too adorable and I need to keep hugging her because she's way too cute and soft and just...awwwwwww!

NO, MASSIMO!

IT'S ME!
The Italian laboratory program is really boring, but it's also really easy. Honestly, a lot of it is just me listening to the computer talk and clicking on 'I have completed this exercise.' I get points for that. I like that. Sakaeguchi thinks I'm not properly learning through this thing, but I'm already good enough at Spanish to understand a lot of this anyway, so it's not a big deal.

I also like it whenever the scene is set in a train station because then Kazuki stops what he's doing and turns the volume on the computer all the way up so Junta can hear everything. It's really funny.

And there's this one lady who just barks, "NO, MASSIMO!" which Sakaeguchi found hilarious. I ripped that file with Audacity and added it to the Nishiura playlist at Tajima's request.

...I totally don't want to take the Italian quiz today.

Even if it won't be hard and I'll get to do it on my own time. I just don't feel like doing it 'cause I'm lazy. And there might be math! How horrible would that be, if there was math? I really hope there won't be any math.

...I think today is a 'no motivation' day. 'Cause it's Friday and we get to have fun later tonight and tomorrow (I hear we're playing Bible Game tonight!).

...please don't make me take this quiz...
WHAAAAAAT?
So I discovered this week that I'm actually really good at Italian! It must be the Spanish.

The funny thing, though, is that tonight's Italian homework has math in it 'cause we're doing numbers. Is it kind of wrong that I tried to use my calculator even though it was simple addition and subtraction? 'Cause I did, but my calculator was out of batteries. So I used my Sakaeguchi instead. He did the math for me although now that I look at it the math was actually really easy and I probably could have done it myself but math in a language you don't fully understand yet looks so much harder!

I'm a moron, I know.

Funny name night!

WHAAAAAAT?
I think tonight was a night for people with funny names to go to Shea Stadium. Just look!

Also, Koharu, I was told to post this for you. It's Grampu!

LEONES! On the TEEEEVEEEEE!

IT'S ME!
There is an episode of Dora the Explorer called Leon the Circus Lion!

And we HAVE IT! It was on iTunes (Tosei was looking for more material to dub due to the lack of Peppa)! Of course, they also bought the episode called Choo Choo. Bye-bye, Takase! And they got two songs - I'm The Map and Super Map. Rumor has it that Shingo will sing both.

...and apparently all four of the dubbers AND Sakaeguchi knew about this episode's existence. And they got it to surprise me. I guess when we make a cake later, I ought to let Sakaeguchi have some of the batter this time...normally I get to lick the whisk. But this is just too nice of him - I totally owe him this time. So he'll get some batter, too, somehow...

I was so close!

I've never been this close to real leones before! But look how close I got today!

El museo tiene muchos leones!

  • Jul. 24th, 2008 at 1:30 AM
WHAAAAAAT?
I really want to have una fiesta del leon right now. Because there were so many in the Met today!

And then we went to Medieval Times, which was really exciting and stuff! And it was supposed to take place in Spain, too!

It made me very, very sad. Shame on you, Medieval Times, for making them be evil. Because you are wrong. They may maul me, but they're good animals!

Boardwalk!

  • Jul. 22nd, 2008 at 12:04 AM
WHAAAAAAT?
Today we were by the ocean (or as Noggin puts it, beside the seaside!) and it was really nice! The weather was great but the water was really cold. Oh, and Sakaeguchi and I tried to make a cake out of sand, but it didn't work too well and we didn't take any pictures of our efforts because they kind of sucked.

I have a plane with my number on it!

It's not as cool as Atobe's plane, though. His actually has his face on it.

We kind of went up in one of those old planes today, and it was a little scary at first but once we were in the air it was awesome. And it was nice and cool, too, which was great because on the ground it was way too warm and everybody was getting sick and stuff...

More leones!

[info]1863_project's kid brother recently graduated middle school. [info]1863_project's grandmother likes buying her two grandchildren really noisy toys, and she gave [info]1863_project's brother...UN LEON! And he sings! So I filmed him!

...of course, I was so excited that I held the camera sideways. Go figure.

Okay, today was all kinds of awesome - [info]1863_project took us to the Bronx Zoo! It was amazing! All the enclosures are so big - the animals get the space they need and stuff! It rocks!

We covered pretty much the entire zoo today. It was insane. We got a bunch of amazing pictures, too, and some videos which are, well, kind of crazy. Especially the ones in which Junta starts quoting Kai-Lan and asking tigers if they're mad. But I got some big cat videos of my own!

Oh, and the gift shop rocked. I now have my very own leon, which Sakaeguchi and I named Juan after our future TV show's mascot. But the best was when we were in the car and I opened the tag, which had the same information in several languages.

I really, really want to do this again someday. Because this was every kind of awesome.

I'm a DRAGON!

WHAAAAAAT?
Okay, I don't know why, but every time I see this clip on Oobi I crack up. I find it hilarious.

I got SERIOUS.

WHAAAAAAT?
Well, I finally did it - I swore at un leon.
